Using the site

CompositePaint provides paint color references, tools, calculators, and a paint color-recommendation tool that suggests colors and shows a preview of them on a photo of your room. You may use them for personal and professional project planning. Don’t misuse the service — no scraping at scale, no attempts to break or overload it, and no uploading content you don’t have the right to use.

Accounts

Some features require signing in with Google. You’re responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service. You can delete your account and data at any time from your account page.

Color recommendations & previews

The tool suggests paint colors and shows a preview of them on a photo of your room; the preview is generated with AI. Recommendations and previews are guidance to help you plan — not a final decision, and not professional design advice. Screens, photo lighting, and real-world light all shift how a color looks, and a preview may render surfaces imperfectly. You are always the one who chooses the color — always confirm it with a physical paint sample on your actual wall before buying or painting. We aren’t responsible for paint purchases or results based on our recommendations or a preview.

You keep the rights to photos you upload. By using the tool, you grant us permission to process those photos solely to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy). Don’t upload photos of people without consent, or any unlawful content.

What this service does & doesn’t do

So there’s no ambiguity about what you’re paying for:

• We sell digital color recommendations and previews — a downloadable color plan (PDF) and on-room previews. We do not sell, ship, or mix physical paint.
• We do not hold or move your money. All payments are handled by Paddle (see below).
• We are not a marketplace and do not process payments for third parties.
• Our recommendations are for planning only — they are not professional design, engineering, legal, or financial advice, and we do not make the final decision for you.

Usage limits

Free accounts have daily limits on previews to keep the service available and affordable for everyone. Limits may change. We may pause the service temporarily for maintenance or to manage load.

Paid plans & billing

Some features are paid — one-time purchases (such as a color plan) and optional monthly plans. Prices are shown before you buy, and access unlocks immediately after payment; nothing physical ships.

Payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our Merchant of Record. When you buy, Paddle handles the transaction, charges your payment method, collects any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. We never see or store your full card details.

Monthly plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account page or by contacting us, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We may change prices or what a plan includes; changes apply to future billing periods, and we'll give notice of a subscription price change before it takes effect.

For refunds and cancellations, see our Refund Policy. We may decline refunds or suspend accounts where we detect abuse of paid plans — for example, repeatedly buying a plan, using up the previews, and then requesting a refund.

Color accuracy & no warranty

Color values, codes, LRV figures, and brand cross-matches are provided for guidance and may contain errors or become outdated as brands change their lines. The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for losses arising from use of the site, the tools, or the visualizer.

Changes

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
