What you're buying
CompositePaint sells digital products — AI room renders, downloadable room plans (PDF), and optional monthly plans that raise your render limits. Nothing physical ships from us, so this policy covers digital purchases only.
How payments and refunds are handled
Our payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), which acts as the Merchant of Record for every purchase. That means the charge on your statement and your receipt come from Paddle, and any refund is issued by Paddle back to your original payment method. We never see or store your full card details.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you're not happy with a purchase, contact us within 14 days of being charged and we'll refund it — as long as you've only lightly used what you bought (you've used less than half of your renders, and you haven't downloaded a finished Room Plan). There's no long form to fill in — just tell us what went wrong. The details for each type of purchase are below.
Monthly plans (subscriptions)
You can cancel anytime. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. If an automatic renewal catches you by surprise, contact us within 14 days: we'll refund it in full if you've used less than half of that period's renders, and we may refund a prorated amount or decline the refund if you've used more.
One-time purchases (Room Plans)
A Room Plan is delivered as a digital file the moment it's generated. Before you've generated and downloaded the finished plan, you can get a full refund within 14 days. Once the finished plan has been generated and downloaded it counts as delivered, so it's non-refundable. If it failed to generate, your renders didn't work, or you were charged twice, we'll always refund you in full.
Failed or duplicate charges
Charged twice, or charged for something you never received? Email us and we'll refund the full amount, every time.
Fair use & abuse
These limits keep things fair for everyone. We may decline a refund — or suspend an account — when we detect the product being abused: for example, repeatedly buying a plan, using up the renders, and then asking for a refund. Genuine problems are always welcome and we'll make them right; we just can't give the product away for free.
How to ask for a refund
Email hello@compositepaint.com with the order or receipt number from your Paddle email, or use the manage/refund link inside that receipt. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
Before you start a chargeback
Please contact us first — we can almost always sort out a refund faster than your bank can. Filing a chargeback can lock your account while the dispute is open.
